Kelly contributes to a diverse background in engineering and research from deep space communications and digital media technologies. Her experience has provided a unique perspective for her role researching construction technologies and solutions. She enjoys analyzing situations, clarifying the limitations and impacts of alternative actions to facilitate informed choices aligned with sustainable practices.
She holds an engineering degree from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of British Columbia. Her diverse experience has included communications research at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, technical direction at Industrial Light and Magic, and analysis of energy markets in western Canada for WSP.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys exploring the stunning landscapes of British Columbia, playing ukulele and supporting youth sailing activities.
